Plot of the movie Mysterious River: It's a hot summer day in Boston in 1975. Three boys named Dave, Jimmy and Sean spend their time playing hockey on the street. Just then, a few people looking like police come to the children and warn them not to damage municipal property. After the warning, the men took Dave into their car and drove away, abusing the young boy for a few days. After this incident, the ties of the three friends suddenly break. But fate only allows them to break ties like this for about 25 years. Dave is a troubled person who still hasn't gotten over the impact of that incident that happened 25 years ago, Jimmy is a married man with three children, and Sean is a detective dealing with murders. What brings them together is the murder of Jimmy's 19-year-old daughter Katie. The prime suspect of the murder is none other than Dave. When Sean becomes the detective assigned to solve the murder, the story goes back 25 years.
