Rey is a young man who puts his university dreams aside and tries to hold on to life in order to raise his stepbrother Oliver better. When drug addict mother Lola wants to get out of prison and gather the family together again, Rey takes her brother Oliver and runs away. When Anne realizes she can't find them on her own, she asks her ex-husband Bo for help. Will Rey and Oliver manage to escape from their obsessive mother and her ex-husband?
