The ending was not tied to anything. The situation on the island was not explained. Who is who, where did they come from, why did they only appear at night? They could also walk around in daylight, so I don't fully understand it. I can empathize with the leading man while watching, but I didn't figure out the other one. Where would the relationship between them and the fish people lead? What was that situation? I'm talking about the Baliklady, I don't understand whether the person next to them was making a call, a warning, or what they were doing. Okay, science fiction was left up in the air too much, unfortunately it wasn't tied to anything. And the Gruner character is half crazy. I understood that he lost his wife or something, but what was his problem? He doesn't want to go, he doesn't help those who come. What's going on? At first I thought the man's wife had mutatoned and was that fish woman, because even though the man tortured her, she wouldn't leave him and was sleeping with him, yes, that was crazy, come on, it was an exaggeration. There wasn't even any love involved, it was like the bond was with the main character. In the end, the man will either go by ship or leave. He will stay, I mean he has become like Gruner, he does not tell the truth, but is he going to protect them or will he continue to hunt them like the old Gruner?
I watched it but there was a gap at the end, the movie makes you watch it but there is no clarity, unfortunately the ending doesn't connect anywhere.
